I grabbed some to put in my currently empty 30 gallon. It looks much nicer in person. Does anyone know what it is?

Also there is a trout in this picture...taunting me...Attached File  13882651_10210256025456111_8791590723648019909_n.jpg   88.87KB   4 downloads

Take a close-up pic in water so we can see leaf shape and arrangement

I dont think it's a Potamogeton.  Maybe Cabomba?

It looks kind of like Megalodonta (water beggar tick) or maybe Ranunculus (water crow foot).

Agree with SmilingFrog - those look like better guesses than Cabomba - especially the crowfoot.  Wait for flowers and get some new pics.

I put it in the aquarium. I love it. I hope it continues to do well.

Looking at pictures, I think it's white water crowfoot (ranunculus) as someone already suggested.

I have never seen this stuff flower even though I see it all the time.

Substrate is Black Diamond blasting sand. I have it in my 75 gallon too and all my fish seem to like it more than play sand.
