Did you know that over 70% of the people that posted here on the forum this year are not NANFA members?  And that is not counting the 'lurkers' that some here to read and learn.

NANFA is an all volunteer organization with a mission dedicated to the appreciation, study and conservation of the continent's native fishes.  We are not just a discussion forum.  We have a quarterly magazine and sponsor three separate grants annually to support educators and conservation efforts for our native fishes.  You can check out everything that we are about at the web page http://www.nanfa.org/

So if you haven't joined yet... why not?  We need you to allow this organization to continue to do the kind of conservation and education work that we believe will help native fishes.

If you have any questions of comments, feel free to PM me or just ask here.

How about teasing our non-members with a link to ONE issue of American Currents?  That oughta do the trick; it's a fabulous publication.
