Is this a sunfish?

This is not mine, someone else looking for an id it looks similar to a juvenile green sunfish, but I'm not positive, any help would be appreciated.

Maybe blue tilapia?

Yes, definitely a Tilapia / Oreochromis / Sarotherodon -- not sure which species -- many of the farmed (& escaped) "Tilapia" are hybrids.

Tiny baby tilapia. Do research, it may not be legal to keep where you are. If it is, it's going to grow reasonably large but is otherwise a decent aquarium fish, suitable for cichlid tanks in general.
