Just above the confluence of mighty Mountain Creek and Little Mountain Creek, Edgefield County, SC; Stevens Creek sub-basin.
Lower fish. Perhaps the only decent photo for id purposes I have ever submitted...

Notice the Yellowfin that snuck in. In real life they stood out from the fishes in question. This pic is the only one that hints at the sheen of the blue/black on the un-id-ed fish.

Habitat shot #1. The support of the bridge is 8' tall. See all the remains of the beaver dam compacted in the bottom of the bridge? Water got a little high here back in November.

Habitat shot #2. Despite all the high water reports for SC right now, our headwaters are low around here. The Notropis please-id-me were all in the pool under the bridge.

They look like duskys to me. If not duskys, possibly highfins, but they look more like duskys.

You let me know when you want to go and what you are looking for and I will do my best to join you. It's been too long. I assume the fish curse has worn off based on all of the photos you keep posting.

Hey, keep me in the loop for collecting trips! Maybe I can turn it into a work trip....
And I admit, I probably was responsible for part of the curse.
