As always, Ben, you leave me grateful for sharing your adventures and pictures, but jealous it wasn't me! Especially love the scenery and the Chiselmouth and Largescale Sucker. One of these times you're out galavanting around the west get a nice, colored-up Flannelmouth Sucker for us to admire. Please...

Ben if you are so inclined there is a nice population of sturgeon in the Snake River near that location. Been there myself many moons ago. You'll need to put away your micro gear though, they are prehistoric beasts.

Last summer I caught flannelmouths in the San Juan River, NM during my IL to CA road trip.  :D/

Ben if you are so inclined there is a nice population of sturgeon in the Snake River near that location. Been there myself many moons ago. You'll need to put away your micro gear though, they are prehistoric beasts.

 

Yeah, I actually saw four of them caught in the short time we were there!  They weren't big, but they were still really cool looking.
