Hello all,

I'm new to the NANFA forums, but not new to NANFA. I worked with Brian Zimmerman for the last three years before leaving school to work as a mussel biologist for a consulting firm. Brian did a better job of turning me into a fish guy then I did of turning him into a mussel guy. I met a couple NANFA members at the Southeast Fisheries Council meeting a couple years back. Hopefully I'll be a member soon, trying to get work to pay for it.

I somewhat successfully raised some Spotted Darters for a research project at OSU a while back, had a couple Longnose Gar in my office tank, then those got shipped to California and I replaced them with some Grass Pickerel. Recently inherited a nice 55 gallon tank from another one of Brian's protoge's that is chock full of some cool darters and cyprinids.

Welcome aboard. I am from just N of you. I think that you'll very much enjoy NANFA! We have a lot of beautiful native fish in the rivers just under our noses and most never even know it!
