In school art we are having "free choice" I chose to do state art. I'm like the silhouette but I was wondering what would be some fish species that are know for the states of Oregon, Minnesota and Wisconsin?

Go to the NANFA homepage, and click on "publication". There is a sample issue of American Currents for non-NANFA members to check out and it features the Oregon Chub. Might be a good place for some left coast inspiration.

Consider portraying a fish that is well known to you, one that you've studied and can remember even the finest of details in your head. Things like that will show in your artwork. Just my opinion, of course. No matter what you choose, I'll look forward to seeing your work

I was thinking about for mn, the pumpkin seed in the central par of the state, channel cat along the mn/nd border, walleye in the north section and lake trout by duluth. Maybe sturgeon in the south?
Oregon have sculpin in centerish? Dogfish on the coast, as well as crab/mussel. Oregon chub in part of state, trout/salmon species everywhere else
