Hey everyone! My apologies for going dark for several months. It was quite the second half of the year for me. Shortly after the convention last year I had major knee surgery, and after that I had an even bigger life changing event when my wife Lauren and I welcomed out first baby in the world! Needless to say rehab and fatherhood have been keeping me VERY busy, and I'm only just now back on a regular work schedule. Of course, I just couldn't be satisfied with that. So I am also continuing my fisheries management online graduate classes to boot!

We were hoping to bring baby Ryder out to his first convention this year, especially since South Carolina was a state we've spent little time exploring. Unfortunately, the move into March puts the convention right smack in the middle of my mobile fish exhibit season. So I'm sad to say this will be the first convention I miss since Kentucky. We'll miss seeing all you wonderful fish heads! Until the next convention go round, I'll be showing Ryder the ropes...

You are gonna have fun raising that boy.  Hi to Lauren.  I hope all of you are all sleeping well.

We will see you all at the next convention.  California, the Golden State is due for NANFA's Golden Anniversary.  New fish to see for many of us.  It could be a unique adventure and experience like Nevada was.

Congratulations!  Ryder looks like he has a bright future with all things fishy.  Sorry that I won't get to meet you this time.  Perhaps in future conventions or other ventures we will meet.  I always enjoy your videos, posts, and FB stuff.
