Olympics are pretty fish that would be popular in a native aquarium. I wonder if the Washington State DNR has a breeding program to try and expand their range? If not, specimens could be provided to experienced amateur aquarists to study and propagate them.

The Oregon Zoo has some I believe but they are actually classified as LC so there's no state breeding programs (at least that i could find). Ray Katula has bred them with research permits. Wonder if it would be possible to get together enough people to convince the state to issue some non-research related collection permits?
