I have a tank consisting of darters, mud minnows, and blacknose shiners. It also has 4 otocinclus catfish and 3 "Amano" shrimp. I hope to add flag fish(4 to 8) for algae controll, and possibly a pair of small sunfish(blue spot, orange spot, or black banded).
Given this species list...what are the thoughts on dwarf crayfish? I'd LOVE to have a few crayfish, but everything I have around here gets way to large for the tank(and it's a planted tank, so I'd prefer not to have the residents doing much of the redecorating). My local cray's all get much too large, so thinking of getting some dwarfs. Thoughts?

I keep cambarellus shufeldtii "dwarf cajun craws" with Heterandria formosa "least killifish" and have never had any problems.

Sorry, JUST saw this. Thanks! Looks like I may be in the market for these.
