I don't know any caving groups, but I'll ask around and see if any of my friends do.

National Speleological Society, www.caves.org. Go to "Find a Local Caving Club", there should be lots of local contacts.

Don't go alone, do go with an experienced caver, follow the safety rules (http://www.caves.org...ty/safety.shtml). Be prepared to get very dirty and wet.

Good advice from Bullhead. There are a number of active cavers in TN, especially on the Cumberland Plateau between Nashville and Knoxville. We are a rather tight group, mostly due to a lot of bad experiences with cave abuse and bad owner relations (resulting from such things as *ahem* posting directions, on an open forum, into a dangerous situation in a sensitive, gated cave with an extremely rare species in it!!!)

The best way to get some excellent looks at some of the most beautiful caves in the world is to hook up with your local grotto (NSS caving club) and let them hook you up!

For some really great pics of TAG (TN, AL, GA) caving, check out this site... http://www.tagcaving.com/

Good Luck!
