Hey Brian.

You must have just put this up last night. (photo of Louisiana Long Ear) That male is certainly spectacular. Now that is what they have in terms of wow factor when you first pull them out of the water.

Again glad you had success in breeding them.

Daniel

I wanted to share my experience with everyone in dealing with sunfish from Brian. I was new to the whole "native" tank theme and searched a couple of fish I wanted and came across Brian. I called him and he gave me so much more information than he needed to. He gave me advice on which fish would be a good fit for my tank and answered about 101 questions I had for him very patiently. I had a shipping problem and contacted Brian immediately and he helped me resolve the matter courteously and in a timely manner. Glad to say, I received everything I asked for and it all came alive! The packaging was great and was definitely efficient, as they survived a trip to a place that is still hitting temperatures above 110 degrees! Great job and thanks again, and will try to post some pictures of the fish soon.

I hate to hi-jack your thread, but it is the perfect opportunity for me to extend my thanks and compliments to the Zimmermans as well. I recieved a shipment of several western dollar sunfish in the mail this afternoon. Not only was packaging was impressive, but Brian's service, professionalism and answers to any questions I had were equally impressive and greatly appreciated. I recommend to anyone purchasing native fish, to do business with Brian. When the time comes, I will certainly be a return customer of Zimmerman's Captive Raised Native Fish.
Regards,
Will

I have to add to the hijacking, I got a box from Brian this afternoon, too. As usual, the packaging was excellent and the fish were in great shape. I bought some sunfish and some shiners. They settled in well and ate eagerly. Brian is very experienced and knowledgeable. I've bought from him several times and intend to buy more in the future.

I ordered 3 grass pickerel from him a few months back and they ate baby guppies right out of the bag, and eating a mix of raw shrimp and homegrown feeders today, all 3 were 3 inches when i got them and now are 5 inches. Thanks again brian
