I will be leading a collecting trip starting at the confluence of the Muskingum River and Licking River in Zanesville Ohio on October 9th. This will be for the Columbus Area Fish Enthusiast and will start around 9am. We likely will also go to 1 or 2 other locations that day. Anyone interested should contact me through e-mail smbass444 at yahoo.com.

Hope to see some of you there!

Hello all. I am coordinating this trip from the Columbus fish club side. Indeed, anyone is welcome to come along. If there is anyone in the central ohio area that would like to come along, we are going to carpool out to zanesville. So send me a PM if you would like to know more about carpooling out.

We are looking forward to it!

What species do you expect to see, I tried looking up the rivers on the web but only found gamefish listed. Although I only looked through the first two pages of links that poped up.

I often refer to this website. I dont have 100% confidence in it because I have caught Brook Silversides in Wills creek and they are not listed on this site, but hey, looks pretty good to me.

I can't say exactly what we would see but it will be a good trip. I expect to see around 40 species or maybe even a few more. Lots of darters and different minnow species, maybe a couple of species of madtoms and quite a few suckers and other odds and ends like silversides and trout-perch.
