I was out sampling and fishing the other day and caught this crayfish. I had never seen one with this much color before and was curious on the ID. I find rustys all the time there, and this didn't have the spot on the side, and had much more color so I was off on what it could be?

Ok, so ID'ing wasn't off .. good to know I kinda know my craws.

How aggressive are they in aquariums/captive life?

They adapt well and among least aggressive of species that are native and introduced in your area. Should also reach largest ultimate size in an aquarium. O. virilis doe not burrow as much as many other species.
