There is no telling what you will catch.

This bull shark just had to have some crab bait.

It was in a 750 foot trammel net and we had an 88 pound one caught in the same place yesterday.

Here is weird fish caught by hand near grand isle last year.

What is it? It looks kind of like a stone fish but it's got a mohawk face thing going on. And what's up with its sunken belly? Is it starving to death?

I just returned from Mobile but business kept me away from the water. I hope to return again this spring and with some afternoons to spend fishing.
I'm trying to get over to East Texas and visit a new customer....If y'all get a catfish alliance trip together let me know.

If you are down here on a weekend this summer you should hop on the bait with us and do some dipnetting 40 miles offshore in the sargassum weedlines. You never know what kinda crazy stuff you will see out there. Also we usually bring a few tasty fish for dinner. I will drop you a pm when the season starts.
