I have an Ace in the Hole for Linville Falls. Little Eddie will be on our team. Seems like i recall him doing a Blue Ridge Parkway survey a couple years ago.
:)
No other teams stand a chance.

Thanks for the list, Matt! Can't believe it's so large.

I loved the location, and hope more at at state resorts in the future. Very nice, and very affordable.

My group had a handicap also - me!

You're on. We'll have to figure something out that is fair and not involve marathon collecting/driving.

Birders move over- fish folk are getting into the Big Day action, complete with smack talk! Is there going to be a gallery, or would I have to be on a team to witness the action? :D/

At this point I'm thinking about everyone going to the same drainages the first two days to even the playing field. Details need to be ironed out so as to not lose sight of why we do this. And not lose some of our less dedicated folks to intensive and extensive dashes from creek to creek just to beat the Old Guy.

I am thinking two teams. All sites the same. Done in reverse order for each team. One team hits last site first, the other hits the first site first. 4 sites. 45 minutes of water time per site. Same number of people, and same number of seines. $10 entry fee per person, free T- shirts to winning team, and full bragging rights. All done in the same day so that water conditions are the same. If we run into each other at a site, it is a free for all, no holds barred, except no eye gouging, no fish hooking, and no below the belt punches. Others who choose not to be in the competition can go on regularly scheduled trips.

How do we choose teams? Only $10 per person? Want to go ahead and take my tshirt size??

Not sure Dustin. Since I am jumping into this, I say Fritz, and you. Gotta separate you two some how. Pick your teams. I am thinking an odd number per team. $10 dollars per person per team equals $20 per shirt, so no loss for NANFA. I would also gladly pick a team if you are not into it. Yeah, I am an Xl.

Sounds pretty rough. I hope nobody's packing shockers and quarter sticks of dynamite...

Can't separate the two of us. I'm thinking Dustin and Uland with me as the handicap for starters on team 1. You and Josh with Casper as the handicap  but he'll give you Ed Scott. And I promise not to use my shocker.
