Does anyone know if freshwater drum are found in the Catawba River drainage of North Carolina?

No, they are only found in the French Broad and Roanoke river basins.

I think the drum in the Roanoke drainage are all probably in Kerr reservoir. I heard that they started turning up in the lake in the last few years, probably as an accidental hitch hiker with stocked fish from elsewhere. They may not be established.
