If it's of any interest or might help anyone, check out this page at the Michigan DNR page regarding what species have been found where. Some of the data is older, but an interesting link none the less.

the web page is: http://www.michigan....30538--,00.html

The info regarding the Atlas Maps:

Michigan Fish Atlas Maps

These maps show distributions of fish in Michigan, both historical and current. The data come primarily from the University of Michigan Museum of Zoology (UMMZ), the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (MDNR), and the Center for Great Lakes and Aquatic Science at the University of Michigan (CGLAS/UM). Hybrids and records of unidentified species have been excluded. UMMZ data consists of approximately 35,000 records from approximately 4600 sites dating from 1823. The MRI data consists of field collections made by Drs. Paul Seelbach and Mike Wiley, and students from the School of Natural Resources and Environment, UM, combined with collections made by MDNR in the Lower Peninsula of the state. In these collections, the identification of species is accepted but, in most cases, no voucher specimens for verification of identity are available. Data from the MRI collection, which dates to 1937, consists of approximately 7,300 records from 485 sites. Data from the UPDNR, which dates to 1950, has approximately 12,800 records from 1,201 sites.

The following list of fish species is provided in taxonomic order.
