Sunfish with CA cichlids -need a 'cool down' period?

So I am considering putting my sunfish with my [comparatively peaceful] CA cichlids, since unlike Gymnogeophagus, for example, I don't think they actually need a cool down period, since they live all over the US, even in places that are warm all year. I would probably keep the tank in the low 70s. The sunfish in question would be a green, bluegill, pumpkinseed, central longears, dollar, warmouth, and a rock bass. (I'll probably just have one of each species, to help cut don on conspecific aggression.) Would any of these species suffer from not having a cool down period?

The cichlids I am considering or already have are (singles of each): Firemouth, Robertsoni, Sajica, Rainbow, Flier cichlid, Nicaraguan, a female Carpintus, and female Synspilum. Any comments on these?

If you are not trying to breed fish (which you are not going to be doing with only one each) then there are no fish that "need" a cooling down period. Sunfish for sure, will all live just fine for years and years at room temperature.

If you have read about a cooling down period for any of these fish, then I would guess that those references were talking about bringing fish into breeding condition. As that will not be your goal, you should not have any need for specific temperature changes.
