Which fish should I do my first fish in focus video on? Here's what I have currently. Central Longear Sunfish, Creek Chubs, Spotfin Shiners, Southern Redbelly Dace, Iowa Darters, and Rainbow Shiners (I want to wait till they get bigger)

look here... http://www.nanfa.org/fif/srdace.shtml

we have a small page on SRBD and on the Central Longear... so those would be the best two to start with... we could just add your video to the current page.

Just added an actinic bulb to the lights to highlight the colors on the longears. Also added another sponge filter to help beef up the filtration. I plan on getting started on the Fish in Focus videos here pretty soon. Hope you like it.

Its a little too blue for my taste, but it certainly makes their faces pop.

I can see the video just fine, and the fish look good... your Rainbow Shiners are definitely growing!

Here's a quick video of the sunfish tank. It doesn't look the greatest right now because I haven't figured out what the end game is going to be for this tank. I just know I plan on keeping the one longear. Also, sorry for the shaky camera.

Your tank looks great... tubercules and white tail tips on your Cyprinella... and your rainbows have grown up nicely... was this shot right after a feeding, or are they always that fat?

One of the nicest home aquaria videos i have seen. Well done. When you see powder blue in your rainbows you will have gold.

It wasn't too long after a feeding but they're usually pretty well rounded. They're pigs.

Oh, I know... I wasn't giving you any grief... in fact I know that the closely related yellowfins that I keep can literally eat themselves into a different shape... they love food... and you must be feeding them well... I remember when they were just little orange things.. now they have all the shape and everything of a nice Notropis... like Casper said, you got it all except a hint of blue or purple on 'em.

I actually just got some yellowfins this week from another member on here and they're waiting in a quarantine tank.

I'm moving this week and I just moved the planted tank yesterday. I've got the fish in two different tanks at my old house waiting for me to set up their old home. I'm doing a large rescape on this tank. I've added a lot more driftwood. I'll be filling the tank up tonight and adding the plants back in. I'll give the tank a couple days to settle down and then I'll add the fish back in. I'll try and do a video tonight once I get the tank filled with water and get the plants in.

Finally moved now. I shot some video of the tank after the move. I've also included a listing of the plants and fish in this video. Thanks for watching.
