Linked is an article highlighting the findings of a recent study exposing the ramifications of anthropogenic noise on fish, specifically Cyprinella venusta, reproduction. I don't have access to the primary literature which this study is based on, but it's published in an Elsevier journal....

 

Also attached is an older, yet still recent, publication by the same authors discussing the Lombard effect in our acoustic poster child, Cyprinella venusta. Furthermore, I've attached a chapter that should be germane to those interested in a general overview of acoustic communication and sound detection in fishes. Enjoy!
