Welcome Old Carp. Interesting name. Brings a smell to my mind.
Anyway, hope you find some good stuff here, and hope to hear some good stories and info from you. Please check out the rest of NANFA. We are not only hobbyists, but also conservationists, naturalists, and scientists. We sort of build a bridge between laymen and professionals.

Welcome, Old Carp! (Isn't that the well-brand of Ol' Grandad?)
What aspect of native fish keeping interests you the most?
Not sure about that one lol but here, have a bottle on me, just to have around in case of snake bite, of course.
I think the thing that interest me the most is getting out in the streams and learning about the native habitats of the different species.
I have a special interest in the longeared sunfish, which i have only been able to locate in one location where i live, and always wondered why. Then i learned that they feed better in more rapid running water, and sure enough this little creek, under a bridge near my home, where i find them, indeed has a rapid current. Who would have guessed that. lol

hey Old Carp... put a general location in your profile if you don't mind... just the state, or maybe the river drainage... it helps people know what is in your area and what you might see when you are out and about.
