I was curious too, but assumed they were baby small mouth... I heard one time that this is the reason that this group of fish are called black bass... because of the coloration of the very small juveniles?

Thanks for sharing, Brandon. That hellbender was very active! The fins on those greenfin darters really popped out too. Great video.
