The forum membership database is experiencing difficulty. All of the data is still there. But no one can log in right now. We are working to correct.

Hi all,
As you might have figured out, we are experiencing issues with forum data corruption. Part of the information stored in the forum's database is either deleted or damaged. It is possible that the system had a hardware failure.
My sincere apologies for the loss of service.
I am trying to repair and recover the information to the best of my ability. If there are any MySQL database experts who are familiar with recovering data from corrupted tables, please reach out to me at s.lateef@yahoo.com .
If my current attempts at recovering the data fail, we will have to restore the information from backup. Unfortunately, the backup data is over a year old.
When this backup is restored, we will likely lose about 25% of our users' login names and passwords (between 500-800 users).
The remaining 75% of the users can be recovered but will have to use the passwords that were valid in 2013.
Next steps:
a. Recover from this mess as best as we can.
b. Help the users who lose their logins with getting new logins.
c. Work with users indivdually with associating their old posts/topics with their new login-names, if needed.
d. Ensure that the rest of the forum continues to work
e. Ensure that the other services like the website, Gallery Archive and the new website are not affected.
When the forum is back up and running smoothly, we can figure out how to ensure that this problem does not happen again.
Thanks
