I used to live in Andalusia, way down south in Alabama down by the Florida line, but this week I've moved up north to Madison, AL, way up by the Tennessee line.
I don't know much about the waters and fish of this aea, but I know that there are around twice as many species up here than down there and the few creeks I've seen so far look very promising, with gravelly riffle bottoms instead of sand and mud, so I'm sure I'll find plenty of great stuff.
Come on, summer, get here soon!
Bonus--> my new place has a basement with a concrete floor. I can finally build a right & proper fishroom!! YAY!!
Those of you who wish to contact me via email will need to do so through my profile link to get the new address instead of using the old one.

Welcome to the Tennessee Valley. If you haven't been to Estill Fork of the Paint Rock River in Jackson County, you'll have to do so soon especially if you own waders. The Flint River in Madison County has lots of interesting fish too. You'll have to come out with my lab group on our monthly Flint trips.

Cool! That sounds like a fine plan indeed.
