I'm going to be fishing for baby sunfish whenever it warms up. They're going in my 65g, and I want to keep 6 of them. Here's my problem: in my usual river spot, most of the sunfish are bluegill. Longears, though by no means rare, are a bit harder to find. If I can't catch all 6 longear babies in one go, should I put the first batch in my 65g and then add the rest in a couple of days or whenever I can get them? Would that cause problems? I'm talking about little sunnies here, under 2", the smallest I can catch.

If it would be problematic, I have a 10g I could set up. I could put the first batch in there and then put both batches in the 65g when I get the second ones. However, I'm not confident in my ability to insta-cycle a tank.
