I've been putting together trip reports from a few years ago before I wake up one day to find that I'm an old man with my memories gone.  I'll post the native fish heavy ones in this thread.  This first one is one of my favorite ones!

On this trip I caught my first suckers.  The quillback and bigmouth buffalo were caught by other anglers though.

How did you catch the madtom? Tiny hook with a bit of meaty bait?

Thanks!  I think I was using a #20 Mustad hook that day, but now I almost exclusively use Owner Tanago New Half Moon hooks when I microfish.  With madtoms and sculpins you can get away with larger hook sizes.
