Ok guys so my pickerel are doing great. However, i have one little guy that has 3 spots kn him that are not spreading across his body or to other fish. take a look at the pictures and let me know what you think.

Almost looks like yellow grubs to me.

Looks like some form of parasite. Assuming pickerel aren't ultra-sensitive to salt, a saltwater bath is probably a good plan. Should make the little nasties shrivel up and drop off.

If it is yellow grub (which it does look like, but a close up would help), it will be under the skin and a salt bath won't help. Time will, though they can live in fish for 3 years or so. I don't recall any real treatment for them. They won't spread. They won't kill the fish. You could probably manually remove them with a blade and tweezers. It won't be fun, but might be your best bet other than leaving it be, and it will likely be there most of the fish's life. If it were my fish, I could not stand looking at them, so I would try to remove them even if the stress of the surgery cost the fish it's life. Might try getting an insulin needle and injecting a tiny bit of peroxide into each grub. Probably kill the grub, and the fish would likely slough it off.

I've never seen yellow-grub flukes standing up above the skin like that.  Another possibility is Lymphocystis (a wart-like virus), especially if it's pearly white.

They are not usually mid body either. Usually located at the base of a fin or under the jaw.

For now i am not doing anything. I just wondered if i should worry. He eats well and as he grows i will watch it and try to snap better pictures.
