Caught about 6 of them today. This is in NY. Yellow brown bullhead hybrid?

Do you have any other pics from what I see that doesn't even look like a bullhead by the angle of the head.
Kinda looks like a young flathead.

I agree. The angle is funky, but it does look like a flathead catfish.

Yep, that's a young flathead.  The ones in the Susquehanna River here look almost just like that.

Yep it is a flathead. The juveniles can stump many as they are often found in riffles and you wonder what madtom it is for a bit.
