I'm in the planning on scraping the drop off and going with a 30.5"x9"x9" shallow river tank, I want it rimless and maybe without a hood or at least a glass hood. My plan was not a good and do emergent and smaller aquatic plants i.e. Mosses or charas or hair grass. I'm going to have rocks and other hardscape coming out of the tank and maybe will have a wood dock post covered I DEAD zebra mussels DEAD! Stocking I'm thinking either Iowa/Johnny darters maybe banded killis or central mudminnow and ghost shrimp.
