This is nothing special, since you have to film/photograph from afar on the boardwalk and I used my iPhone, but I thought I'd share a picture and video of the Salt Creek pupfish I saw in Death Valley National Park on March 1:

"Not special"- are ya kiddin' me? That's awesome stuff! Love habitat fishy habitat shots to begin with; ones from the desert are especially fascinating to me. I hope to see that same thing in person some day. Thanks for posting.

That's seriously cool.  Fish that persist in the desert are pretty amazing.

That's really sweet, I was stationed at Camp Pendleton, CA for 8 years and we made trips to 29 Palms and Death Valley frequently for desert training. I only wish I was into collecting back then.

Glad you guys enjoyed it.

It was really cool to see them. There were quite a few out despite the cooler temperatures. I'd love to go back during breeding season.
