For the past few years I have been using one of those cheap butterfly nets taped to a piece of bamboo you buy at the dollar store. Well it serves me well it finally broke so I ordered a new net.

Then you net came into the and I was so excited to use it I went to the pond only to find it froze over. From playing with it indoors I like you. Handle is much longer than when I used to have, that is much larger, holes are a little bigger so I should get less drag. It is very light and attacked perfectly to my small camelback. I can't wait for it to get warmer.

My previous dip nets consisted of a thin bamboo pole dollar store butterfly net and a fish net zipped tied to a trekking pole and I am going to say this is the worst thing I ever used. The net was nice but the pole snapped in about 10 dips in a pond.

Is it returnable? If so, get your money back and order a perfect dipnet from Jonah's Aquarium. It won't attach to your backpack as nicely, but it will NEVER break like that.

I agree.  Get The Perfect Dipnet from Jonah's.  I've got a new one coming but had my old one not been lost or stolen, I'd still be using it.  Great net.
