I have some of the eaiser managble species in my natives tanks. Eastern mudminnows, bulheads, golden shiners, jonny darters, etc. And was wondering if it was ok to brter, trade or sell any of these. All shipping would be done in a careful quick manner.

There is a Trading Dock subforum for this purpose, but it is only visible to members ($20/year, and you get the magazine). There is no issue on our end. Some states regulate trade in wild-caught fish, some quite severely. I am not familiar with your state.

It is actually $30 per year now... check here http://www.nanfa.org/join.shtml but gzeiger is right.

And the variety in regulations from state to state is a big reason for why we have it set up as a members only and a trading dock.  Barter/trade are less likely to run afoul of state laws than directly selling fish you collected.

We would love to have you join NANFA.  Check out the website and see all that we have to offer as an organization.
