Is this a black bullhead? Looking at anal fin ray count and chin barbels that are not pure white colored like most of the yellow bullhead I find around here.

Initially thought this colorful fish was a longear but think I might see some green sunfish mixed in. Hybrid perhaps? Most of the greens around here aren't usually this colorful.

This is actually from a trip last year. Thought it was a juvenile common carp but upon further review wonder about a wild goldfish.
Thoughts appreciated.

I'm not totally sure, but that looks like a goldfish. It has the detached dorsal fin and rounded lower jaw without barbels.

First one looks like a black or brown bullhead, not a yellow. No white chin barbels. Second to me looks like a green sunfish / longear hybrid, especially with that elongated opercula, third looks like a wild goldfish. JMHO.

Black bullhead, hybrid Lepomis, juvenile Ictiobus (most likely bubalus)
Dorsal ray count rules out goldfish among other reasons.
Many adult black bullhead here at this site, browns are exceedingly rare in this part of KY as well. Anal fin counts overlap.

Yeah, after looking at the photos online, it does look like a buffalo. The Lepomis is beautiful.
