What is this minnow?

I was recently cleaning out my turtle tank, when I spotted this fish. See, every once in a while I’ll go down to the retention pond and net some minnows for my turtles and stick em in. I don’t pay attention to the fish so I didn’t notice, but when I tried to look it up, I couldn’t find it. If anyone knows what this fish is, please tell me.

P.S. When camouflaged, it turns almost black with vertical, thick, slightly wavy white lines, and will attack a whole turtle pellet, with it’s gills opened, like it is a predatory fish, yet it hasn’t attacked the mosquito fish. It also has a pattern similar to a bass on it’s head, and when not camouflaged, a small dark line down the length of it’s body. When scared, it hides in the rocks.

Thank you so much. That must be what that fish is, due to the fact that the pond I was referencing is connected to an estuary. This fish would be fine with tank mates right?

Oh, and I do have one more question relating to a species of fish. It looks like a species of cichlid, and I am located in Florida. The smaller ones appear to have darker stripes (like a sheepshead minnow), and a dot on the back of their dorsal fin, which is shaped like a cichlid’s (cause of alarm). I just want to know incase I need to remove them from the tank. I was confusing them with Sheepshead minnows until I got a closer look. Thanks.

Discard the question about tank mates for the sleeper goby, I’ve finally found a few answers for that, but here are better picture of these “maybe-cichlids”.
