Surprise H. formosa fry!

I bought some shrimp at my aquarium club a few weeks ago, and two fry hitchhiked with them :0 Today I saw them again and discovered they are unmistakeably Heterandria formosa fry! They are growing quickly on the fry powder, but the 10 gallon they are in is intended for some adult Aphanius mento that would surely eat them and that are arriving next Thursday. What should I do with them? Don't want them to get eaten with the shrimp. Thanks

Formosas can be kept in a 1 to 5g tank. I have kept them in a heavily planted 10g without any additional filtration and the population maintained itself for several years until I gave the fish away. Currently I have a group in a 5g tank with a sponge filter and a small plant. They are active fish that are fun to watch and would make a great selection for a small desktop tank/container. Good luck!
