I have a friend interested in getting maybe a 1 or 2 pairs of least killifish. Does anyone know where we could pick up a handful in the DC metro area? There are a few commercial providers, but the shipping cost is prohibitively high. Thanks for any info.

You might check with Batfish Aquatics (Joshua Weigert) in Maryland and/or Potomac Valley Aquar Soc.

Yup, my Heterandria colony came from a feeder guppy tank. I've also seen bluefin killies and swamp darters in that same feeder tank.
