Been looking at seines, what do the terms knotted and knotless mean? Which is better and why?

Typically knotted seines are those which come in larger mesh sizes, such as commercial fishermen use. Minnow seines made from a woven fabric, and therefore knotless. I prefer the Delta-weight fabric sold by MN&T.

On this page http://www.memphisne..._seine_knotless they show different material used for their seines which would you recommend?

Ace Knotless Seines
Delta Knotless Seines
#126 Knotless Seines
#252 Knotless Seines

Thanks again guys,

Tom

Ace is a lightweight fabric - it's OK for limited use, but I prefer Delta. The 126 and 252 do not come in a mesh size small enough for me, so I can't recommend them for that reason. Delta is what I like.
