I hate to do this because I am always very disapointed when others say they can come to one of these and then back out but it seems I have double planned myself for being places that weekend. The good news is they are both fish related but the bad news is the other was first. I am participating in the local aquarium clubs show and auction on both saturday and sunday. I could cancel my participation in that but I feel like I could promote our hobby a little, spend less money (very important since I'll be unemployed come the end of october), and I have been to KY on a collecting trip once this year already. I am sorry to disapoint anyone but I'm sure there will be a next time. I look forward to seeing the photos and a report, I'm sure it's going to be a great trip.

Brian

It's a major bummer that you can't make it. It's even more major of a bummer that you'll be unemployed this fall. You know this already? That's a long layoff notice. Lord willing, you'll find another job in the meantime.

Just great! Now who is going to ID the fish for us?
I also am sorry that you cannot make it Brian, but I fully understand.

My current job is a seasonal one i knew when i started that it would end on the 26th of October. There is a slight chance that if they like me enough they may give me a full time position at that time but it is a very small non-profit organization so we will see what happens.

My crew is down to two at best, but I am for sure going. I do want to get down there on Thursday, the more sampling, the better.
