Welcome to our forum member Scenicrivers as our new northern Ohio regional representative. Ohio has become very active, and he is the man for the job! Welcome Matt!
I am pleased to be a Co/regional representative in Ohio. I look forward to working with everyone and hope to help NANFA in its goals. If any one needs to contact me at any time feel free to do so. Thank you for this oportunity to serve you and the native fish that we all love. If any one has any ideas that will help NANFA advance its outreach, educational and conservation goals, please forward them to me. There is much work to be done in Ohio.

I believe it was very important for Ohio to have a co- representative, we are a very active state, and also a large state. I live in the southwest corner, and it is a solid 5 hour drive to get to the northeast corner Heck, I can be in Tennessee in five hours. Most of Ohio's active members are in the northern part of the state. I believe it is only fair to them to have a Rep. who can be more active in that area.
I am also fairly active myself in Kentucky. Kentucky is lacking a regional rep, and I am getting some overflow interest from that region.
Furthermore Matthew Smith works for ODNR. This is a very important connection, and could open up many doors. I reccommended Matthew as co- representative because he can likely do more for our organization than I can, and I am not willing to walk past that. I look forward to working with him, and am very excited about the future of our region. Matt

And Matthew is going to get some overflow interest from western Pennsylvania. Heck, I'm almost in Ohio, it's just an hour down the Turnpike. Welcome, and thanks for taking this on, Matthew.I am also fairly active myself in Kentucky. Kentucky is lacking a regional rep, and I am getting some overflow interest from that region.
