These are from Spring Creek just at or above the maximum flood height of Lake Gibson.

I'll have more pics as I edit the photo's from my wife's camera...I'm just trying to get through mine right now....

Can anyone see the gambusia and other pics in post #3?

I noticed yesterday, many of your photos required a while (along with a few "refresh" clicks) to come up. I don't ever recall another member having this issue.

Part of it is that I'm hotlinking to the pictures on a server I have access too...I didn't disable my own hotlinking protection until today....others of them are coming from "photo-bucket"

The other part is that many of photo's are very large and higher than web resolution (300dpi)...

Some of the rest of it is me not linking correctly... :oops:

Wow. Those are truly beautiful pictures. I really like the one of the bass and cricket frog. And yes, I see the gambusia. :-D

What "bass"? Do you mean in the picture with the big carp? Or do you think the little fish above the leaf is a juvie bass?

I would agree the one above the leaf is a little largemouth bass. I don't think your carp is a carp though, looks like some kind of sucker not a carp.

Cool, I suspected the little one of being a bass to be honest with you, I'm only used to seeing them at "sport" size

My wife said they were "nipping" at her while she was trying to collect the darters!

It is very possible that the other fish is a sucker of some kind, I didn't have the best lens on for those shots. Hopefully there are some images of that fish (and others) on my wife's memory cards.

More pictures to come as my wife and I get the time to review all the shots.

Thanks for the compliments, I've just recently become seriously interested in digital photography and am enjoying learning the art.
