Darn..wish it was warm out.
I had not seen any damselfly larvae in months..but today, two of them which apparently were hiding in the plants, reached molting point at the same time, as just this evening they are flitting around my apartment.
I was going to catch them..but they have both lit on a houseplant, and one has even captured a fruit fly!
I think I'll just leave them be, and if they can make it on the odd fruit fly(yeah..I cultivate them and more then a few tend to be free at any given time!), then they will make it. Putting them outside would not bode well for their long term survival...
Kinda feel bad I had them in there...thought I'd fished all of them out when I collected plants!

I've had several chrinomid midges flying around between the water and tank cover in my srbd fry tank recently. I tossed in several sprigs of pond plants for the microfauna and apparently the little worms were too big for the fry to eat.
Gotta be careful none make it upstairs. They look exactly like mosquitos and my wife will immediately blame me.
