anyone know were i can get a battery powered air pump?? do they sell at at petco, petsmart, walmart or anything??

I get mine at walmart in the fishing equipment section. The Bubble Box portable air pump made by Marine Metal Products is what I use.

They're cheaper when you don't buy them at aquarium stores. I think they're $10 or under with fishing supplies in the big chains.

I found one at Dick's Sporting Goods that has an air pump and bubble tube built right into a 5 gallon bucket lid, sold for keeping bait. Pretty much perfect for about $9.

I bought mine @ Dicks Sporting Goods, $7. I saw several at Walmart over the winter on clearance for like $5.

Drs. Foster & Smith have them on sale for as low as $3.99 per pump, or 3 pumps for $10.69. The link to that item is here. I'm not sure what shipping cost is for those.

I have always found mine at local sporting goods stores in their "Fishing" sections near the minnow and crawdad traps. The last one I bought at Cabela's, and the one before that at Sportsman's Warehouse.
