Hey

Can anyone ID this fish for me? I am thinking either Green Sunfish or Warmouth.

Warmouth. Look at pattern, no white halo around the fish, red spot on opercle flap, and tooth patch on tongue.

That's really impressive... I mean I thought it was a wormouth as well... but I was having a hard time seeing its tongue... you're really good :cool2:

Thumb position and grip showed the resistance from the toothpatch. I did some simple calculations to see that there, in fact, was a toothpatch. You can also tell by the flexing of the muscles in his wrist and the tendon tension in the thumb. X-ray specs help, too.

I'm in shock, for once it's not a green sunfish. But kudos to rjmtx for quick ID.
