Are you using IE6? The forum software hasn't supported it for awhile and maybe now it is really broke?

That sounds like some kind of ad trying to load maybe ?? have you run a good virus scan lately?? also Malwarebytes is a pretty good program to get rid of some hateful scumware that some anti-virus misses.

I too am getting a black screen on the top of the screen when I try to read a thread. I just updated Firefox with no luck making it go away. I don't get a green loading tab though.

The forum utilizes a lot of javascript, do you guys have restrictions on scripting? Or maybe an overzealous adblock rule?

No I have Javascript enabled. I get a loading circle at the bottom of the screen too, if that matters.

This black screen stuff happened after I made the thread "Photos of my Eel" in the Photos and Video Gallery.

Looks like it may be a CSS problem. Can you change your skin in the lower left hand corner to IP.Board and let me know if it works right? It is odd that it doesn't affect everyone.

I just tried that. Still the same old black screen. I wonder if it has to do with posting photos in threads?
