One of my favorites. I took picture after picture after picture on my recent "Creek Crawl" trying to show how immaculate these fish fins are with their race flag checker pattern. Just wouldn't happen. I was kickin' myself for not having any formalin to fix just one.

Tom, I gotta ask you, what are you doing with all these wonderful pictures?

We use the pics for our research, and maybe I will write a book when I hit my mid-life crisis. The way I see it, a healthy mid-life crisis would involve writing a darter book or starting work on minnows! Certainly better for everyone than other options........
Any suggestions on what to do with the pics?

Gawd, is that it? I'm working with Notropis and Lythrurus species as a midlife crisis? It's safer than buying a Harley, anyway.

If you're a NANFA member, you can upload your photos to the NANFA gallery and get a nice collection going.

Not really any suggestions as of yet. Perhaps some people are writing fish identification books and would love to have these photos to help out.
