Last year I did some house cleaning of my 75? I got a new Sponge out of the pack. Cleaned the Algae from all the glass, cleaned the filter, right OK. Trouble! After a Couple of days everything started to die. Didn’t know what was going on, lost everything except two large Black Bullheads. Got them out to the pond, it was empty at the time, so they wear the only fish in it. The pond was one of the ENTIX types with the air blather around the top. Been using it for three years. The air blotter started to dry rot. Pond collapsed, it held about 8 – 12 inch of water. Stayed like that all winter, even froze over several times. I even forgot about the fish. I thought they had died or something. NO PUMP, NO FILTER, NO FOOD for several months. Took old pool down in February not expecting to find anything in it. I already bought my new pool, just not ready to construct yet. Slit the old one up the side to finish draining, out swam to 10 inch Black Bullhead Catfish. Scooped them up and filled my live / transport box to put them in. They lived in that box for three weeks. Problems with new pool. Sprang a leak. Patched leak, filled pool. Patch busted, repaired leak again. Filled pool third time, tinny leak at patch, not enough to worry about. Put fish in pond. Got everything set up in pool, logs, bricks, Potted Plants and everything else. Pond has been set up for about a month now. Last night, checking on my pond and feeding my fish. One of the cats likes to hide under one of the logs. Noticed what looked like little bitty Tadpoles, NOPE baby cat fish, must be hundred of them. I must have a pair.
