Went to the lake wednesday

I went fishing down at Lake Nockamixon on wednesday. I saw the flats were polk a dotted so I got out my bait rod and found that the lakes pumpkinseed, warmouth & blue gills were in their spawning beds. I wish I'd had brought the camera with but we were supposed to get rain so I left it behind. I love the pumpkinseeds, IMO, they are the best looking panfish.

I'm partial to Bluegills or Redbreasts myself but Pumpkinseeds are a very pretty fish.

But Pumpkinseeds are very mean fish.
