You Tube video You will need to adjust the video to 480 and fullscreen it to see the eggs in the beginning.

My flag fish have been laying eggs over the past two nights and I'm assuming when the male is away something is eating them during the day. Can these eggs be taken and dumped into a fish fry net and kept in the same tank with some of the output from my HOB filter flowing over them or am I better off putting them in a separate tank?

A separate tank or plastic shoebox would be safer. Other fish will try to suck the eggs or fry through the net and probably kill them. A net inside a larger net might work temporarily.

Should I just set up a smaller container with some plants and an air stone? Aside from white cloud minnows which haven't stopped reproducing since late May I don't have any real experience with egg layers. Thanks!
