My post doesn't show up in New Content

Probably a new forum change, but I noticed that my posts don't show up in View New Content after I post them. If I navigate to them through the forum, though, I find them. Why this is???

I'm trying to figure out the changes they've made to the "View New Content" feature. Sometimes I'll see my post and sometimes I won't. It also hasn't been inconsistent in other ways. I think it is a caching problem but haven't had a chance to run it to ground yet.

I've noticed the same problem and now rely on the "Today's active content" function on the bottom on the main page.
Seems to work lots better than "view new content".

edit: I think it's missing far more than posts "you" make. Seems inconsistent like Drew said.

I had the board configured to use an external search engine (Sphinx), which re-indexes every 15 mins by default. I changed the search engine back to the internal one, so let's see how that works.
